We want to first off thank your for stopping by. Our mission is simple, to supply those elements to your little glass box that you may have been looking for but haven’t been able to put your finger on with others.

Over the past years we have acquired many beautiful animals an want to share some of our joy with you. Please enjoy and let us know if there is anything we can do that may bring more joy into your little part of the sea.

We specialize in Aquarium Corals, Fish and Invertebrates for your Saltwater Aquarium.
We carry healthy, rare, bright, and colorful corals.

Shipping Information

At Zoanuts we employ the finest packing ,shipping and handling methods available on the market  to reduce stress of the animals and assure live healthy arrival of you order.

On ALL orders there is a $10.00 process, handling and material fee.  We use the best boxes,  bags and heat packs that are offered.  During the colder months we use multiple bags and heat packs.   We feel that it is very important to pack your new additions with the  very best products we can buy to quarantee the successful arrival shipment.   Some vendors hide this in the pricing of livestock.  We will just be honest and let you know.   


How we prepare our shipments    

Our preparation and packing procedures continue to be the best in the business.  We use only the highest  quality shipping materials to ensure the arrival of hardy and thriving livestock.   We believe in these materials for the safety of the wonderful coral you will be receiving.    We spare no expense on our shipping materials as you spare no expense to receive them. 

It  starts with the high quality insulated cooler box with high density thick walls.  Most online vendors use boxes made in the spur of the moment.  

Every coral is triple to quadriple bagged with 2 mil polyethylene bags and heat sealed or Banded  to insure no leaks during the shipping process.  We then wrap the inner insulated cooler with a “box saver “  polyethylene bag for more protection.  During inclement weather situations we add the necessary heat or cold gel packs to sustain temperatures during transit.   With your confirmation of your order being shipped you will also  receive a attached weather report for your area and ours.  It is very difficult during certain seasons when the weather in your location is drastically different than the origination of the shipment.  So we ask you to also take a look at the weather report and help us make a better decision. 

Finally we close the insulated cooler with TONS of  tape to make absolutely sure the contents stay secure during the shipping process.

 

Shipping Rates and Options

Due to numerous loses with USPS we no longer offer express mail.  USPS's tracking capabilities are below par and their concern for God's creatures and the ability to not find a person you can talk to that has information about you package helped us make this decision.  Actually the decision was easy.  Money can be replaced but livestock usually cannot. 

  If you choose not to order from Zoanuts due to the higher level of shipping  we apologize but our livestock is of the upmost importance to us and  to you.  Zoanuts would like to make it clear that we work very hard to secure wonderful product and only the best shipping that is available. 

In our experience, UPS EXPRESS handling of livestock is far superior to any other carrier.   

Our primary  provider for shipping is  UPS.  All packages are shipped Standard overnight shipping  ( usually delivered by1030 ).    This costs significantly  more than other inadequate low price shippers,  but delivery of your shipment is guaranteed by 10:30 AM  in most cases.    We can track every move that your package makes and we can make nesessary adjustments if needed.  If your package misses the origional flight your package in most cases  be rerouted to a comercial flight to meet the delivery and destination times.  It is simple, UPS  keeps you and I in the LOOP for the delivery.  Due to some locations that may be more remote for UPS,  we may ask you to have your shipment delivered and held at the destination station to be picked up.   ** Please note:  If you feel you would like having your shipment delivered Saturday,  there will be a $20.00 additional charge forwarded to you via an invoice that will be applied to your existing shipping charges including Free shipments.    If you have questions about this please contact us support@zoantus.com

 All Major carriers including UPS measure shipping weight by dimension and weight.   Here is an example of dimensional weight.   Zoanuts used many box sizes to ship.  During seasonal changes and winter we will be shipping most or all of our packages in a 12"x10"x13" box.  LxWxH.  It comes out to 9lbs even before adding livestock.  You see that we spare no expense in shipping supplies and delivery companies to get your livestock to you alive. 

During checkout you will be given options on how your order can be delivered.  Please keep in mind that these are living creatures.  We spare no expense on the care of them and we would suggest and hope you feel the same.  As the weather changes we would also suggest that you select the most expedited form of delivery. We make no money off of shipping most of the time we lose money but it is of the upmost importance for the success of the livestock.   We will contact you after you have placed your order to verify that the time of delivery is in the best interest of the livestock.

 WE IMPLORE YOU TO BE AT HOME WHEN THE DELIVERY IS EXPECTED.  Please make sure to sign for the package.  We track deliveries making sure packages are signed for.  ** We cannot award you the arrive alive guarantee if the package is not signed for.**  If there is a delay with your shipment due to the carrier we will do our best to contact you about the delay and forward  any  information to you via email or phone.

Please note:  If the package is not signed for upon delivery  or left at the door step or garage we have no choice but to void the Live arrive guarantee.  So please make sure you sign for the package.   If your package is delivered to your place of employment or office the live arrival guarantee is void.  We offer the availablity to use the Destination Station in your area  to hold your package until you are able to pick up.     If you have questions about this please feel free to contact us.  We are open minded and can accommodate most of your needs  support@zoanuts.com .

 

   Shipments are made three times a week Tuesday for Wednesday delivery, Wednesday for Thursday delivery, and Thursday for Friday delivery. We Ship Three Days a Week.  We do make exceptions on shipping days just contact us if there is a better day for you.   If you have special requests about shipping please contact us at support@zoanuts.com .   If you would like us to send  your package on Saturday we will use UPS Saturday delivery by noon for an additional charge which will be billed to you before shipment is  processed for delivery.  UPS states that the package will be delivered by "noon".  If you order product over the weekend your order will be processed on Monday and shipped out Tuesday unless otherwise noted of another shipping and delivery day.
 

Once your order has shipped you will receive email notification containing tracking number information  so you can keep updated on the travels of your new livestock and  you will also receive your local weather report .

 

Home Delivery Suggestions

We have a few suggestions for you to help reduce stress on your livestock and help ensure that everything arrives alive and healthy.

The best thing you can do is make sure you or someone else is there to receive your shipment and begin acclimating your new livestock as soon as your shipment arrives. We highly encourage that someone must be there for signature pickup.  If your or someone else can be there as opposed to your new livestock sitting outside until 5 or 6pm when you get home from work, they’ll be that much happier and healthier. 

Secondly, please keep temperature and weather in mind when placing your orders. 

Regardless of how well we pack your livestock, it is extremely stressful to them if they have to sit unattended outside in extreme weather.  PLEASE NOTE  if the package is not accepted on the first delivery all “LIVE ARRIVE” guarantees are VOID. 

 We have local delivery for our LOCAL OKLAHOMA CITY residence for a $25.00 packing and delivery fee.  We will deliver within a 15 mile radius from 73162 Zip code.

Live Guarantee

Zoanuts offers this guarantee so that you can be confident in your purchase.  Zoanuts promises to our customers is that we will only ship quality livestock selected for superb health and color. Please read the following Live Guarantee.

We will fairly, honestly and accurately apply it to every order. We guarantee the corals to arrive alive. Any corals that do not arrive alive will be credited back to your next order or shipped once shipping fees are received, because Arrive Alive DOES NOT COVER THE SHIPPING COST, including heat packs and Styrofoam box. If livestock fails to survive the shipping process  or UPS does not deliver on time, you must inform us immediately as we will also be tracking the package and do the same in return.  The  following day does not cover the guarantee. For every order a signature is required for delivery, please be sure someone will be home to sign for the package, if no one will sign for the package or you are unavailable to sign,  have the package  delivered to  your nearest  UPS Station location.   If the package is refused we will not be liable for any loss and we reserve the right to refuse future business with any individual who does not sign and accept the package.  Packages that are sent to an office or picked up after the promised delivery time at a UPS Location  we will decline  the guarantee as we are not sure when they will be acclimated.   If credit is given and not redeemed within 30 days  this will be void from the date credit was given.

Aquarium water chemistry must be within the proper parameters to support aquarium animals:
Ammonia – 0.0 ppm
Nitrite – 0.0 ppm

Nitrate – 0.0-30 ppm
pH – 8.1-8.4
Specific gravity – 1.020-1.026
Temperature – between 75 - 83 F and constant

Customer must physically sign for package on the first delivery attempt regardless of whether or not DHL or FedEx  is late. Refusal of delivery for any reason voids any guarantee.

  • Customer must follow Zoanuts acclimation procedures upon introducing the new animal into your home aquarium.  We will forward ways we have used and have had great success. 

  • Our  “arrive alive”  is a guarantee that the livestock will arrive alive.  We will not issue credit for shipping and handling costs that include insulate boxes, bags, cool packs or heat packs.  We will guarantee the corals to arrive alive. Any corals that do not arrive alive you will be credited back the costs of the livesotck  to your next order .

    Credit is not usable towards 'free shipping over $250.00.  Credit from livestock can only be used on new livestock.

  • We will not replace replacements or livestock bought by store credit.

  • Livestock must be reported dead via email within three hours after delivery.   Returns or proof of death must be sent within one hour of the item being reported dead.


How to return livestock that meet the criteria of our guarantee:

  • Email support@zoanuts.com  immediately within the three days  to report losses. Be sure to include name, number, and message.

  • Using a digital camera take the best quality picture of the lost livestock and forward photo to support@zoanuts.com with your name, number, message and the item lost.

  • We will send an email to you that will allow you use your credit within 30 days of the credit being issued.  If the credit on live stock is not used within 30 days the credit will be void.  We do not issue credit for any shipping costs.

  • Please allow 48 hours for processing of live guarantee claims.

 Does Zoanuts have free shipping?

Yes we do with orders of $250.00 or more. 

Why is there a $10.00 handling charge when I got free shipping?

Shipping with the carriers is FREE for orders over $250.00!   Materials to get your shipment to you in great condition such as Boxes, Bags, Heat packs, ice packs aren't cheap.  We don't cut corners with shipping your new corals.

What are these little snail like creatures that are on my frag?  

We use Stomatella varia to help us control some of the algae and waste in our tanks.  If you have questions about this please feel free to look here Stomatella varia

What lighting do you use?

We use only T5 lighting.  We are very honored to have and Sponsor Aquatinics lighting.  We use Aquatinic SolarFlare www.aquatinics.com fixtures on all of our grow out tanks that contain 1 Giesemann Pure Actinic,  three Giesemann Actinic + , 1 Fiji Purple and 1 Giesemann Aquablue +.   If you enjoy the colorations or our livestock and would like to duplicate the true colors  your lighting setup should be as close as possible to our lighting configurations. 

 Does Zoanuts accommodate Group buys? 

Absolutely we do.  We welcome the opportunity to take care of all coral fanatics.  With group buys, due to larger shipments, there may be more shipping, handling and material fees that may be applied for orders . Free shipping for group buys is set at $400.00  It is still a fantastic opportunity to buy as a group. 

Do you ship internaionally to Canada or across the Atlantic? 

Unfortunately we don't.  We ship to the lower 48 states only. 

I just placed an order.  When will I receive it?

Normally your order will be packed and shipped the next business day after you place your order.  If you have any special requests as to when you want to have your order shipped or delivered, just let us know in the Comments box during checkout when you place your order.

 Why is a signature required to receive my Shipment?  Can it be waived?

This is required for your order to be covered under our “live arrive” guarantee, as it allows us to track when your package was delivered.  We implore you to sign for the package.  If the package shows via  UPS tracking system to be left at the front door or any other locations other than to a person  the live arrive guarantee is void.  If your order is not delivered on the first delivery attempt there is simply No way we can guarantee your livestock since they will be subject to unnecessary and unknown conditions.

  

Can I place an order and have you hold it for a while?

We will hold your order for up to 5 days at no additional charge to you.  When you place your order just use the Comments box to indicate when you want your order shipped or delivered.  If you have any questions about this please feel free to contact us via email at support@zoanuts.com 

 

What if I’m only home on certain days?
Due to the sensitive nature of our shipments, it is of utmost importance that you specify the days you are unavailable to receive your shipment. We ship all of our livestock via UPS Overnight Service. This is generally delivered in the morning or early afternoon in most areas.  Contact UPS to find out the estimated arrival time.  Our live Arrival Guarantee only applies to shipments that are received on the carrier’s first attempt.
